Laguna sits on the edge of Vilamoura around a chain of lakes, with water in play through the closing stretch. It’s a shorter, more forgiving layout than some of its Vilamoura neighbours, which makes it a good rhythm-setter early in a trip.
We usually schedule Laguna as the first or second round of a Vilamoura week — a course that rewards course management over raw length, at a comfortable pace for groups still finding their legs.
